Tony LaRussa has announced that, if the Sox win Game 3 and avoid the sweep, Carlos Rodon will start Game 4. This is great news for the Sox given that Rodon has been so effective this year as he finished with a 2.37 ERA.
He’s been hit with injury problems all year, which means that he will likely on pitch 3-4 innings and hand the rest of the game to the bullpen. That, still, is amazing because those innings will likely been efficient and scoreless.
Tonight the White Sox face elimination in Game 3. Dylan Cease is set to start in a game that, if the Sox lose, would mean that the Astros swept them. So put on your lucky hat and let’s hope our Sox win.
